Having seen the ASPC interface, GSPC had a clear idea of how they wanted the map component of their site to work.

The wanted users to be able to restrict the search by marking an area of interest on themap.

They wanted locations of matching properties to be shown on the map, and users to be able to go from locations to property details and vice versa.

However, when they saw the potential for interactive data filtering offered by the in-browser database, they decided to add these facilities as well.
